House Fellowship became active, as an informal Department of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, in some parishes in the eighties; and, began formally as a unit of The Directorate of Christian Education in 2009 / 2010 Redeemed Year.
In January 2012, the House Fellowship Unit was carved out from the Directorate of Christian Education to operate as an independent body; which, was saddled with the responsibility to effect prompt implementation of the Church Growth programs of the Redeemed Christian Church of God on Church Planting and House Fellowship Development at the grassroots level.
In pursuant of this mandate, the Redeemed Christian Church of God House Fellowship Department has trained thousands of members, workers and ministers of the Church for Church Planting and House Fellowship Development.
“To be the best training unit of the Redeemed Christian Church of God in the world, and lead the Church to achieve the highest excellence in Church Planting and House Fellowship Development; and, in staff, research, consultancies and academic Preservation using cutting edge research training on Church Growth, Church Planting and House Fellowship Development; and, by employing up-to-date acquisition, information analysis and knowledge delivery system”
In order to fulfill her divine mandate, the House Fellowship Department has the following Units in place:

4. Research and Training
5. Languages and Translation

7. House Fellowship Leaders Coordinators
MANDATE OF THE RCCG HOUSE FELLOWSHIP
The following are our Mandate and Objectives:
“To effect prompt implementation of the growth programs of the Redeemed Christian Church of God on church planting and house fellowship development at the grass root level by using the House fellowship as an instrument of Evangelism”
The House Fellowship Department has materials and manuals published on House Fellowship, Leadership, Church Planting, Soul Winning and Discipleship.
Plans are in the offing to have these materials in other languages (local and foreign).
It is our vision to implement the Church Growth programs of the Redeemed Christian Church of God on Church Planting and House Fellowship Development at the grassroots level.
To accomplish the aforementioned vision, we seek to fulfill the following:
